It is woocommerce that developed the watermark plugin that is not working properly. Stamps fine when downloading direct from the site but not when using the url provided in a customer email created by woocommerce.

    Any ideas why?

Thank you for getting back. Much appreciated.

I am not sure what is happening then. Each user has their own username and password. When I tested 5 logging in at the exact same time (i did this on 3 separate occasions) on the thin clients (all sharing the same IP on separate virtual machines) my cPanel logged an I/O fault which is shown below and the website crashed for 30secs:

The errors from the 3 tests, in reverse order:

When I repeated the test in another computer room of networked PCs (all with their own IP addresses) all 5 logged in fine without any issue.

I assumed that as the only difference was that they are all logging on from the same IP that this would have been the issue but as you say wp-bouncer doesn’t limit users based on IP then I am sorry if I have made a mistake. Is there any other reason for this that you can think of?

I should add it worked fine when the plugin was deactivated.

So finally i get a response from godaddy…

” We have checked your site ?????????.com and the 503 issues were caused by transient processes piling up which were causing problems to your site’s resources. We have cleared them and the admin dashboard now resolves properly, kindly check on your end. You would want to clear your browser cache first or use a private / incognito window to visit your site. ”

Im really annoyed. As this problem has happened before (1 month ago with a ‘good’ godaddy worker quickly diagnosing the issue as being caused by a build up of processes, that he killed) what’s to say it wont happen again??

I was after diagnosis and a remedy not a quick fix.

    Any ideas or advice?

This sounds great vincek1! Thank you for your advice. I will certainly investigate this line of enquiry!

Tried many different configurations but unfortunately the 503 error continues in a timely fashion.

    Thanks again for your thoughts.

Any other ideas regarding this issue would be most welcomed.

Have installed – what do you suggest setting the request time to – tried 60 seconds but error persists

Thanks for the additional advice / suggestion – It happens if its just me or if several are logged in.

I thought about this but the visible cron jobs are mostly daily. The most regular is hourly. Could their be more cron jobs that are not shown by the cron manager plugin?

I hit f12 and captured an error when the button was clicked:

3 days later, still no change in membership level for members who have passed their expiry date. Clearly these crons are not firing. GoDaddy say they can’t see a problem.
    Please help someone.

[Moderator Note: No bumping, thank you.]

    More information – sorry.
I just installed WP Control and after it scanned all cron events it came up with the following error:

“There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron events on your site may not work. The problem was:
    Unexpected HTTP response code: 429″

Also sometimes the error code changes to 503.

    Any ideas?

I should add that I have no Cache plugins, have cleared the cache using the GoDaddy cache flush tool and have installed ‘Advanced Cron Manager’ which is not listing a cron which relates to ‘expiring members’.
Still seems that wp-cron is not executing.
