You can disregard my above – likely a local security policy prevented the database updater from running. I restarted Nginx and the first thing I saw upon logging in was the successful updater message, and now I am able to edit again.
I am having a similar issue, except that it’s asking me to update to 2.7.0, when it shows as having 2.7.1 installed.
At present, I cannot open any pages for editing (the green progress bar does not even show up). I have never had that issue prior to this. Safe mode also does not work.
Switch Editor Loader Method was disabled. I enabled it. No difference. So, at present, I am unable to continue developing my website.
Please shed some light on what is going on here…

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More than Just a Page Builder] v2.7 not stableI’ve noticed issues like this in the past, where widgets I was sure I’d styled had suddenly lost their style attributes, but have performed so many customizations that I couldn’t be certain what it was due to, and simply re-did it without enquiring further.
Now I see that due to this update, this recognizable issue is much more severe, and may point to a long-lingering issue that finally needs to be addressed.
Will refrain from updating until further notice…

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Uncaught TypeErrorHaving same issue and leaving plugin manually disabled until it is fixed.
bumping with more info –
When I drag the KB Search widget in, it doesn’t provide a button, and the ajax functionality of HKB search isn’t there.
First thing I saw after the update was my login page now had no permissions, the login widget was missing, leaving the splash page of my site looking.. odd.
Am I ever glad WP Rollback works.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Error after upgradeAlso 4.8.2, and following update of this plugin I received a 500 error and could not access my site. After renaming the wp-security-audit-log folder to something else, the site was accessible.

Your silence in the face of these allegations, which can be verified independently, begs an explanation.
This is working again. Thanks much!
Can confirm this is working again. Great work!
I’m having this identical problem. I enabled the Redirect users option, and it set things into a redirect loop. I have tried the wp_redirect fix but so far it doesn’t seem to have been updated. I guess I will wait a little while and hope it’s a caching issue and try again.
