    I too am getting the same false positives. I have over 40+ outside links and all of a sudden I am getting tons of notices but they are still good links. These links are to various companies sites (homepages). I sometimes force a re-check and it settles it down but then after about 12 hours I start getting the warnings again.

    I have used this plugin for quite a while and I like it. I have never had a problem before that last week or so.

    The answer always boils down to “security by obscurity is no security at all”. The real security is in the strength of password – not in hiding the username.

    I can definitely understand that position (laziness doesn’t increase security), but it feels like we are still giving hackers half of the keys to the vault.

    I personally have LastPass setup for my websites so my password is so confusing I don’t even know it off-hand. But if hackers had to guess the correct username and password it would become a lot harder for them to gain entry than if they already had the username and just needed to peck away at the password until they hit it just right.

    Also, WordPress.com just added two-factor authentication for added protection and security but would it be needed if the username was not public? I know that many people still use ‘admin’ as a username (which was the focus of the massive WordPress attack a couple weeks ago). What about CAPTCHA?

    Yes, I do have the Jetpack plugin installed on the site. However, I have had both plugins installed and running on the site for quite a while now and never had any issues. Plus, as I was looking into the Limit Login Attempts plugin it only records information from the login page (for my site’s page it is the standard wp-admin/wp-login.php). It records two datasets, ip address and username used to attempt access. It could be a Jetpack plugin error but there were two attempts at the same time and both ip addresses are different but both associated with Automattic (at least through the whois.arin.net lookup feature).

    Nice site. You might want to add ‘Copyright ? 2012 UGot-IT.’ in front of the All rights reserved, so that way EVERYONE who visits your site knows that the content within your site is owned by you.

    Also, you might want to take out or rename with new link the bottom three sample links at the bottom of the page (Link1 | Link2 | Link3).

    Finally, I noticed that all the text in the About Us page were centered. You might want to consider normal or left alignment, it is just easier to read that way.

    If you want you can put a link at the bottom of the page (either next to the copyright notice or somewhere in the footer type area.

    Great looking site. I think the visuals/appearance is just great. It has that visual attractiveness without it going too far overboard.

    The only issue is that your About page is also your homepage. If you don’t want a homepage then I would delete the Home link in the menu options and just have About.

    Site seems to be a little on the minimal side. I would try to spice it up with color, background, etc to give it some visual attractiveness.

    Interesting site. You might want to look into expressing the message of the site in the header. I like the graphic that you have but I didn’t know what Finding The World is about until I found the About page link buried at the bottom of the site. You might want to add something in the header graphic to quickly and sum up what your site is about.

    Also, I was very confused with your footer widget section. There is just one widget there and it is small and seems odd. I would either put in more widgets or get rid of it and add it on to the sidebar instead.

    I noticed that there might be a problem with your header on the (https://emvwebsource.com/web-log/) page cause it is very different from all the other pages.

    Also, you might want to consider using ‘#’ for the link of your parent menu options (Services & eBook). It would hold the place but not navigate to a particular page.

    Very nice looking site. There are 2 things I would look at changing though.

    1. I was very confused with the menu options because Login, Account Settings, and Logout seems to be mixed in with the page menu. If I were you I would think about just having a Login button in the menu and then once I am logged in have the account settings and logout buttons arrive at the end of the menu or even better put them in the sidebar.

    2. I would highly consider putting a copyright notice at the bottom of the site so that way people know that EVERY page is copyright protected.
