In reply to: Theme CSS NOT available in dashboard. The culprit is iThemes Security which has lumped in several features under “Security Check” with ONE button that secures the site and changes multiple settings with no boxes to check/uncheck. It has disabled the File Editor in “WordPress Tweaks” and there’s no way to disable this. Configure Settings only has ONE button to “Secure Site” no button to disable this..
No idea how to disable this, unless I disable the plug in completely.
Wordpress Tweaks is no longer a seperate module. It is lumped in with Security Check with just the one “Secure Site” button.
Configure settings for Secure Site does NOT even allow this one button function to be disabled! I can only repeatedly click “Secure Site”.
Security check is now ONE click to secure site. With NO OPTION to disable any features!! It has disabled my File Editor. How do I disable this feature? Configure Settings in Secure Site only has one button to secure site, BUT none to disable it and there are NO BOXES to UNCHECK! No settings for WordPress Tweaks which disables the File Editor.
How on earth do I get my File Editor back? Must I disable the entire plug in because of this over reaching and restrictive feature?

In reply to: Theme CSS NOT available in dashboard.@anevins, thanks for your reply. I want access to my theme’s CSS, not to extract what’s there but to make some minor alterations. For eg. I want to add bullet points where there are none and every single time I add a product I have to add several lines of code to the product description in order to get bullet points. I don’t want the CSS closed off from my dashboard. I don’t know why it was closed off. Does using Chrome to see the CSS, give me access to make changes, isn’t that just showing me what it is? the whole thing is still closed off which is infuriating. I just want access to it that’s all. Why should I have to use a plug in to see it? It should be visible?

In reply to: Theme CSS NOT available in dashboard.I had W3 Total Cache plug in installed for a while but I deactivated it some time last year after reading it’s best not to use it prior to your site being published. I don’t know if this could have done anything, I would have thought so. Really at my wits end.
