Basically i have some area locations as categories eg Cornwall (Main) > Truro (child)

If i set Truro as the primary category, when the categories show on the front end they are not shown with the primary category first, they are still in alphabetical order, Cornwall > Truro

Hi @tw2113 no worries, we stopped using your plugin as it just never worked for us, and are now using Permalinks Pro which has worked straight out the box. Thanks anyway

Hi @pcosta88 thanks for the detailed report, ive been onto CPT but they are not seeing this as an issue (??) ive actually set permalinks back to default and there are no 404’s.

I use CPT with custom taxonomy recipe_category with all the categories in, I also use with the Custom Post Type permalinks plugin (screen shot below).

It seems that the category link from Yoast breadcrumbs get a 404, BUT what is weird is that the category Baking works and populates the archive page.

hi @tw2113 i think that the custom taxonomy rewrite rules aren’t working.

When i set rewrite to True and use a custom slug of recipe-cat the category gives a 404
