I really have no idea. Need to see it in action. I can easily find apply button by going to the top and pressing B to find the first available button and keep pressing till I find apply.

Another solution would be only hiding the counter for visitors and keeping it for admins.

Ben, thank you for your response. I tried seeing the analytics for this year for my another site running independent analytics and it worked fine. Guess my site in question has a lot of content hence it takes time to load the data. I kept it open for a few minutes but it didn’t work.

Hi @danniee001 unfortunately I couldn’t manage to find a solution and the updates are yet to fix the issue. I have switched to a different plugin.

This is extremely frustrating. We have small sites but what about big websites relying on Yoast? Typical copy/paste responses won’t fix the issue we all are experiencing.

I’m not using any custom code. I installed the plugin and use it normally without any custom code or script. What should I do?

I don’t know who or why marked this as resolved, but updating to 20.10 doesn’t fix it either. Rolling back to 20.8 again.

I tried deleting the texs “Views:” and saved the settings, but the text is still there. Seems like it is unable to delete.

Unfortunately it won’t work. I tried clearing my browser cache, visiting from another browser but still the same. The only solution was rolling back to 20.8. I wonder why you’d need to change what is working, rather than fixing issues.

Thanks a lot for thespeedy response. Turning off the rest API was not my intention but the developer whom we hired turned off I guess, thinking it can improve the performance. I unchecked the disable API option and saved the settings. Now the counter is working in action. Just wanted everyone to know that.

Unfortunately this didn’t help and instead made things worse. I lost all of my paid optimizations and that didn’t change anything for the headings and breadcrumbs. Thanks to the backup, I have restored it for now. Looking for other solutions.
