I agree, i have been dreading this ‘text editor for dummies’ style interface, making it insanely difficult for control freaks and experienced wordpress bloggers and authors, and content creators to blog their posts and pages. Its absolutely horrible!
Some things should be left as they are, and the old text editor was already working fine. It’s as if WordPress is copying WIX or something. Dont like Gutenberg, and now write in html in a separate app and paste it into a ‘paragraph block’ instead of having a ready-to-write title and body textfields with all the wysiwyg tools we are used to.

My problem is im using jigoshop with twenty twelve, and only way to get product thumbnail to show is to select the image as a default image in wordpress, but that also makes my default product image into the site banner on that product page 980 x 250 pixels!
How can i stop default image being the custom header too?
I need default image to be a product/post thumbnail, not a custom header.
But jigoshop says that only twenty eleven and twenty twelve work as a theme.. which is a lie because it doesnt work due to custom header being defined by custom thumbnail, with no apparent way to separate these two taxonomies. Could somebody ennlighten me as to how to hack the code to stop twenty twelve from assuming the default thumbnail to be custom header?

I Mean a new copy of that theme (make sure its same version, if you had customized images then uploasd those over later)

The files for wordpress that include the entry you deleted are in the themes folder not in ther admin files or includes.
A simple naming of a functioning theme to the same name as the theme folder you screwed up will renew access to your site and make it work again

heres how you get your admin panel and site back first;

open your themes folder in ftp
rename the selected them you had for your site to something else
upload the same theme again
refresh your browser
fixed!

i had this problem too and changed the domain forwarding and it stopped.
By the way i think the website you made for your client is for a fantastic cause and will link them up from some sites i have.

ok here it is rickconsidine;
find the line of css in ie6.css that says
position: static; /* wtf ? */
remove the /* */ enclosures
done if it doesnt work then mail me at sakyant (at) windowslive and ill send you all 3 css files i re-edited. I think the above is all you need but i also made some re-edits using z-index on stylesheet.css so not sure if those commands also affected the solution or not, as once i saw i had solved it,

many people still use IE6 – 13 percent of the world in fact.. that is a lot of people, so dont think its not wise to make your website visible in all browsers? i dont use ie6 for browsing silly boy, i use it to see what my pages look like so i wont be losing traffic

me too even de activating akismet doesnt work
looks like you tube cant log in due to wordpress security script measures
oh well.. its just as easy to open another tab and just edit and post as usual and anyway i need to align and change width on my viedo posts anyway so posting through you tube isnt the best option.. just a little convenient for me when i use my 60 blogger blogs to post to so i dont have to change dashboards all the time

what do you mean using the new config sample? u mean change it’s name to “config.php” and edit the db info???? and upload?

The page cannot found/Error 404

add to any dot com doesnt exist! i get a network error and the add to buttons get the same when i click on them… de-installing and will insert sopcial bookmarks script in the index.php template under the post comments – that makes it appear in all posts too and doesnt create plugin issues either.. straight code insertion.. who needs add to any when the domain doesnt exist? looks like the server is totally down

Ok it worked! the problem in previous post was cause because the chmod permissions were changed when i deactivated it.. so i ch modded them back to 777 using my ftp program and all is well! thank you for your solution.. wasnt happy without the seo plugin as i have done some research with my seo tools and texhniques and the thing really does well with google and co – its a great plugin.
