Can I do the same in WP?

Given the target is generaly pleasant.
Don’t think the drop down menu is as well implemented as it could be (adobe.com has a gaceful version of it).

It overlays the text and graphics in a odd way and it misses adeguate padding for the background color, color I would probably modify a tad as well.

I would try an horizontal drop down submenu solution (the only example I can think of is not a drop down but it is horizontal – apple.com)
