It seems that no related pages are being pulled, is that the correct behaviour? Only posts are being related even if the page has a very similar title

you have it right. These are ther terms people typed in search engines. So if your site is about widgets and somebody typed in ‘cool widgets’ in google (or bing) and found your site you would see it in the ‘Search Engine Terms’ section of your stats dashboard
