Yes i am aware of child themes, but I was asking more in the sense of adding code to different sections of the site as you would with a site without wordpress

I found the issue to be a plugin, and added wp-caption css to my styles found

Hi thank you for pointing me to .htaccess, I found that in my admin section, the .htaccess was set to deny from all, possibly for security reasons. I have changed it and now have access. thanks

Ok I changed my url’s in the test database and it seemed to work however now when I try to login in through /wp-admin i get a

“access forbidden 403 You don’t have permission to access the requested object. It is either read-protected or not readable by the server”

I don’t know what to do, any help would be appreciated.
