sorry it doesn’t work for you.
Do you use upper or lower extension filenames?
Please try to upload an image like “image.jpg” not “IMAGE.JPG”
maybe that is a problem..

Any more information or errors displayed would be helpful for Wasiliy,
so it is reproducible and he can fix the problem.

YAY, it’s fixed.. but.. (lol)

I get a popup..
“gc-comment-#” where # is the the number of the picture in the gallery ??
Not a big problem, the date is there, but.. well you know what I mean ??

Anothing thing.. cosmetic
is it possible to display the date as it is setup in WordPress?
I’ve set mine to month day, year and it is displayed as year/month/day..
Also no big problem it just reads weird ??

Hi NeenNZ,

it is perfectly possible that is the case..
Windows systems are not case sensitive, Apache/Linux systems are..
so that might cause the problem..

I’ve recently move from a windows IIS server to an Apache/Linux server and had some pretty weird error..
One of them was the inability of finding include files etc.
due to case difference in filename and extension.
While image.jpg is the same as IMAGE.JPG in a windows based system,
it is a different file on a Apache/Linux system, because it is case sensitive.

So yea, best practice is to always save files with an lowercase extension ie. IMAGE.jpg, but I know some programs save with uppercase extension.

This is a nice catch you’ve made.
it’s one of the annoying issues using with image files.
I’m sure this will be fixed in the near future

Could you copy-past the whole error message please ?

Hi,

Yes that is what it means.

If you tick the box you can enter a web-address in the
“Forward to URL” box.

After upload it will load this entered URL.

Fox example you can redirect to the page where the gallery is
or your homepage.

I’ve tried that to link to the original image as it is place in the gallery folder.
For some reason the icons in slider don’t show as they should be.
please have a look for yourself:
portraits
the last image ‘Summer 360 animation’has the URL link.
Actually this image is bigger in the slider ??

Just thinking isn’t it possible to ‘opt-out- of the slider and just show the full picture not in slider ?
( I mean an tick for don’t show this image in slider Use external URL if available? )
So if they click the image it will go to the URL and not it slider.
based in this setting ..

Hi, I Love this plugin ??

I have three questions.

1) After upgrade I somehow lost 2 empty galleries so my ID count now goes 1,2,3,6,7,8 is there away to get them back or revive them?

2) is there away to make a description for the galleries?
Just ID number is very confusing for me since I use several separate galleries for different pictures.

3) is is possible to add information if you upload yourself (from within the admin page) ? I can’t give any information about something I upload
(if for example I have to re-upload an image because of moving it from one gallery to another gallery)

EDIT:
When adding new images to the gallery while activating I got the error:
Warning: mysqli_query(): Empty query in *********/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1811

Everything seems to be working though.. just so you know ?

I really like this idea ??

With one ‘twist’ is is possible to see the total but own vote on mouse hover ?

I think that would make more sense, because if you are voting on a already voted image (when the Hide until vote isn’t enabled) you can not see what you vote.

So if you have not voted it could say “click to vote”
and if you have voted “you voted 3 stars” or something like that.
I think that would be nice ??
