In reply to: [Theron Lite] GlitchesI had the same problem on two different WordPress installations (fresh), locally and on a remote server. With this in mind, and what I’ve written in my posts above, how can you say that this is caused by something other than Theron Lite?
No I didn’t fix this, didn’t have time enough to keep trying so I gave up and deleted Theron Lite.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Theron Lite] GlitchesTried that package too, same thing happens. I say that this is a bit spooky. :-/

In reply to: [Theron Lite] GlitchesThis is a fresh installation, just a local sandbox to test different layouts and themes. There are no other plugins installed than the WP default ones (Akismet and Hello Dolly) but these are not activated.
But I checked one thing: I removed all themes from the themes directory and put only theron_lite there instead, the result is that no theme shows up at all. The message I get is: “The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”
I downloaded the package from the developers site, maybe it was broken?
I’ve worked with WP for years and I’ve never seen this happen before.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Theron Lite] GlitchesFile does not exist: /var/www/favicon.ico
Is the only error message, it’s got nothing to do with whether the theron_lite directory is there or not.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Theron Lite] GlitchesWhich specific log?

In reply to: [Theron Lite] GlitchesThis is on a local Linux computer, typical LAMP installation.
Through trial and error I realized that this theme and nothing else is causing the problem.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Database connection errorThe problem is solved. What I needed to do was to change ‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost’ to ‘DB_HOST’, ‘127.0.0.1’, but I do not understand why that is or why this suddenly just changed. I find it that here are certainly some inconsistencies with MySQL and Apache in Mac OS X. Sometimes it just works and sometimes it just stops working for no obvious reason at all.

In reply to: Does not find wp-config fileThe problem is solved: According to the webhotell support they thought this might have been because the server was in safe mode, they made some small changes in their scripts and voila!
The support was closed during the weekend, and I was supposed to work on this the whole weekend.Cheers,

In reply to: Does not find wp-config fileOlder versions of Apache, MySQL and PHP. Linux server (the others are FreeBSD). Uses localhost instead of for example mysql.mydomain.com.
