i just checked my another site – and i get there exactly the same error.
When i put anything in “Format of meta-descriprion” – the meta-description of homepage is ignored.I get it everythere INCLUDING homepage, inspite that homepage has it own description.
“with the exception of the homepage”
That’s i’m talking about.
I get it everywhere, including homepage. Its a real pity.
That’s not about macros at all. All i want is:Format of Meta Descriptions: “Hello!”
Meta Description for your homepage: “Goodbye!”But i get “Hello!” everywhere, including pages with individual description, and main page.
Hi wpsmort,
maybe you got me wrong.
Ive got such meta-description in all posts (as suppoused)
/>including pages that i mentioned above. But! There should be quite another meta-description, say “Hello, its index page”, and i set it for page – but it wont override the first one.
Hi friend!
I’ve got such settings for Meta-description format: “Bla-bla %wp_title% Bla-bla %blog_title%. Bla-bla-bla”. In posts everything works s charm.
The problem is that i get the same meta-description on pages too, though i set individual description for them.
index page
page 1
page 2
btw: there’s no problems with title and keywords on pages, just meta descriptionForum: Plugins
