I’m having the same problem. All ports are open. All login creds are correct for the mail server. I have tried every combination of settings. I’ve deactivated all plugins/themes and it still says error connecting.

All plugins and themes are up to date as well.

Please advise.

Received this response on Slack “Better to just run a check on the checkout page, rather than modifying the button action? You can use the template_redirect hook.” Going to give that a shot, but I’m certain it’ll work.

I’m getting a 500 error due to this plugin as well. It’s also causing a jquery conflict with the MailPoet plugin and they said to contact you as well. Please advise.
