I have found the associated code for shifted the post heading.

I have resolved this myself

Please ignore my last message. The changes still do not seem to be working for ‘recent changes’. The link should be pink to start with and then change to grey when I hover over. Everything else works. ??

The cupcake is fine, but everything else has shifted below it. I’d like the post-heading to be inline with the cupcake.

Thanks Andrew. I think I forgot to close a comment, so you can see the cupcake now. Sorry, I sometimes do stupid things. :S I have added the CSS in style.css at the bottom.

However, I don’t know how to get everything inline with the cupcake, e.g. the post title to wrap around it. ??

I have made the changes in the style.css of my child theme. Everything else seems to be working… so far.

Thank you soooo much. That worked perfectly, I thought I would have to change all margins individually. Next, I have to change the colour, alignment and font size of widget headings. I think I should be ok with that ??

Thanks WPyogi, I thought I used a hex colour, but I think the colour I had chosen was too light.

This now worked, but there is zero margin around the widgets/headings and search box. How do I fix this? Sorry, it has been a long time since I have touched any coding so very new to css.

Hi will this code (header and footer ribbons) also work in the twentytwelve theme. I have just started complete customisation as it’s more of a blank canvas. However, I do love the ribbon navigation bar and wanted to replicate it. Thanking you in advance.

Hi, I am completely new also (but understand syntax… albeit, a little rusty). I have followed every combination of creating a child theme for adelle, e.g. ftp, plug-ins, etc. However, the @import “stylesheet” code is ignored and instead, when I am in the css editor in wordpress is overwritten with the welcome to css comments blurb.

Is it not possible to fully customise adelle as its not listed on bluchic’s site for example child themes? I also stumbled somewhere that it was one of the few sites that needs more than one parent. Also, no one seems to have a working solution.
