In reply to: WooCommerce Downloadable Product – KeyI’d like to know more about this too because this seems like it could be used for product keys. We currently rely on a system we developed that generates serial numbers separately and manually and it’s a nightmare to manage!
Nice catch, we noticed this too recently and intend to patch the current release for this. I’ll get back with an ETA.
Thanks for the feedback, we will seriously consider this for 3.0!

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] How to add .mp4 video file on thumbnails (fancybox)So how did you fix it?
I understand that what a Theme does or doesn’t do is up to the developer. BP/BS don’t dictate what a Theme does or doesn’t do (I assumed you were familiar with them?), rather it’s a framework, just as Twenty Twelve is, to enable developers to get any number of things done faster.
So I’m still seeking a response from users in the community about my original question. But since there seems to be some confusion let me clarify what I’m asking:
BP/BS seem to be a widely adopted standard framework for website development. Yet Twenty Twelve does not utilize them. I don’t want to adopt them if Twenty Twelve is unlikely to do so ever, but I also feel that they provide a broader set of strengths and features then Twenty Twelve does so I would be surprised if this hasn’t been, at least, considered.

In reply to: Removing post title from blog pageA website has a front page (website landing page) and a blog (landing page).
None of my customers use their Blog’s landing page as their website’s landing page (for example).

In reply to: Removing post title from blog pageHaha, not entirely.
In my scenario, my customers typically want a unique design for the front page (front-page.php), a unique design for general subsequent pages (index.php -> content-page.php), and a unique design for the Blog’s landing page (home.php).
Do you see any weakness with that hierarchy? I’ve always felt like “home.php” was a poor naming convention and developers should introduce something like “blog-landing.php or “blog-page.php”, etc…

In reply to: Hide gravatar if none set, need help…For the time being, I discovered that there is a CSS class applied to elements that don’t have images set, so I hid it with that. But, for the sake of performance, there should be a way to prevent it from loading via PHP (ideally WordPress settings somewhere). So I’m leaving this as unresolved.

In reply to: Removing post title from blog pageThanks for the insight esmi. That’s the sense I got so I’m glad to hear some confirmation of that.
I would append to the original question then and ask what we should use if home.php is sort of on it’s way out? (Right?)

In reply to: Paragraph tags and the visual editor/tinymce, need help…Wow! I’ve had a plugin installed for so long that I actually thought this was a native issue to WordPress/TinyMCE. I had no idea it was caused by a plugin. Thank you!
In this case it was Ultimate TinyMCE for those who care.
