I tried the new version and found easily the new “Success page additional HTML” field in the advanced tab. I tested the Adwords Conversion Tracking Code and it is displayed in the source code of the Success Page as it should.

Now I can track my forms as I need it. Very cool!

I tried both. In the “Submit button input attributes” field the code is completely kicked out after saving. In the “After form message” the code is still there after saving – as in my attempts before.

Now I searched again in the source code for the AdWords Conversion Tracking Code at the “Success Page” after sending an test form and there was nothing. With my state of knowledge I would search in the “Success Page” for the code? Or I am making a mistake?

I am struggling since a few month with the same problem, without solution until now and I want to keep this plugin as my standard form plugin for all my customers. A while ago I posted the same question even to Mike′s support and with a small donation but sadly got no answer. Now I am trying again to bring the AdWords Conversion Tracking Scripts to all my different forms on a customers page where I have to track every form separately.

I know where these fields are in the advanced tab and it is possible to bring an “onsubmit handler” e.g. for Google Analytics Event Tracking to the “Submit button input attributes” but the origin AdWords Conversion Tracking Scripts will kicked out after saving.
Now I tried the script, as from Mike suggested, in the “After form messeage” and it is still correctly display in the settings after saving. I hoped to find this code now in the source code of the “sucess message” after sending and put also for checking a “normal” text in this field. Unfortunately I could find something. Do I have a missthinking?

I would appreciate any hint to solve this problem because it will constantly be a topic for me and my work.

I am happy that it seems that I am not alone with my problem. I have an solution to implement the tracking code in the corresponding PHP-thank-you-template and even posted the solution in my blog. But this solution is a little bit older and I don′t know if it still works. Furthermore I am not sure if this solution is good for updating – I don′t think so.

Another workaround could be to make an Google event tracking in the “form attributes field” what should work like the plugin authors description. Than you can make in Analytics out of the “Event” a “Conversion Goal”. This conversion goal you can import afterwards in the AdWords Conversion Tracking Dashboard.

I could manage to integrated the AdWords Conversion Tracking Codes in different forms in the old system of this customer: in Joomla with a form plugin that I don′t knew and it is working. So I can not believe that in “my” system WordPress with the form plugin that I always using, it is not possible to do so same?

So I am still open for good suggestions to solve this problem ??

Sorry, I found the problem. It interferes with another catalog plugin that was installed in both installations. When deactivating the other one it works.

Had the same problem. Made it like lop_cz was describing – and working now!
