In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Really devs? Update overwrites custom CSS cookie noticeThis is ridiculous. The dev resets to CSS that is written sloppy…
Have a look:

The text gets cut on the screen edge. The layout is ugly.
I fixed all, and now it got reset on all sites.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Really devs? Update overwrites custom CSS cookie noticeThe update just resets all custom set CSS and text for the Opt-out Message.
I am talking about this:
https://ibb.co/b9WXqJ
All my code was reset to default CSS for all my sites. I changed layout, colors, text for every site I maintain. Gone.Yes, seems like the Opt-out banner destroys the CSS of the theme or something. It looks horrible anyway and collides with my cookie consent banner. You want to do it right? Give full options for the data privacy opt-out banner. CSS for buttons, background, colors and option where it is placed. I will uninstall WP statistic because as it is now it can not be used because it looks very bad. In ten days my site needs to be ready for the new law. This all is such a mess.

In reply to: [Contact Form Email] Data protection law Europe may 2018Thank you very much. That’s great!
The Events Calendar is needed for our non-profit organisation students club/bar. I can not pay 50$ for a wordpress plugin (Import Facebook Events). That is totally unacceptable, since we only use free plugins and resources for our website. We do not have the budget for such expensive stuff. So I will keep the faulty working free plugin.

I see that there is a pro version of the plugin.
Facebook should really fix that / You should really ask for fixes. You are selling a plugin which is not fully working and not really useable for professional business (clubs, disco, concerts). That’s uncool.- This reply was modified 6 years, 10 months ago by t-ryder.
Thanks for the reply Sir or Madame.
It sucks quite a bit, that the facebook API works faulty in that case.
If I got an event from 22-04 o’clock I want it on my page from adding it until 04 o’clock that date. I wonder how such a bug can even be there. I mean, one can not really use this for professional use having guests or customers taking info regarding events from the API.Anyway thanks for the support and thanks for the plugin. It is quite nice to have it (even if it is not working completely) and with a little knowledge of CSS one can have cool results (using additional CSS in the customizer).

In reply to: WP PNG qualityForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP PNG qualityThis is ridiculous – I uninstalled Jetpack, cleared caches, reuploaded my grafics with other filenames… nothing works. PNG compression is just there. I got artefacts on all my PNG images. I don’t know which other plugin could cuase this… none I guess – is wordpress 4.7 doing this by default? Come on… I want clean PNGs. What the hell is going on here? I am wasting hours by finding out.

In reply to: WP PNG qualityDisabling Jetpack Photon did not bring anything. My PNGs still get compressed and this produces artefacts on the pics.

In reply to: Admin Backend goneI made my way through the partly working screwed up chaotic mess what should be the backend. Managed to disable all plugins, uninstalled most and got the backend working again. But it was no fun dealing with the broken UI. All OK now. Thanks.

In reply to: Admin Backend goneThis does not work neither
1) Via FTP or your host’s file manager, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
2) Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
3) Login to your WordPress administration plugins page (/wp-admin/plugins.php) – this will disable any plugin that is “missing”.
4) Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename “plugins.hold” back to “plugins”- This reply was modified 7 years, 11 months ago by t-ryder.

In reply to: Admin Backend goneRenaming the plugins flder has no effect too.
Going nuts here. Same bug 2 times in a row with 2 fresh installs and I can’t do nothing.
Fresh install again? I’d switch to another CMS then.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Admin Backend goneBut I have no Problems in loggin in, the backend does not load and has no function.
Renaming the theme folder via FTP has no effect at all.
