I think John Blade’s wp-mail.php hack does something like this. I think you put the category number in [] brackets in the subject line. Ex you want it in the “whatever” category and the category number for that is 2, then you put [2] in your subject line and it puts it in that category. I figured it out. It was the script trying to ping other sites to tell them when I posted. It caused it to time out and not finish. Anyway, I commented it out and here I’ve published my plugin. You can follow it here
