In reply to: [Meta pixel for WordPress] pixel crashed siteThanks! I was just popping back in here to say I figured it out. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Bonus: now The Events Calendar will continue to work after this month as well. Guess a site crash can be a blessing in disguise.

In reply to: [Bento] Hiding Navigation on an Individual PageThanks for that info. What I suspected, and totally makes sense. Moving on…

In reply to: [Bento] Showing Dates on Post PagesOh, also, I’d like to have the option to show the author of posts on the individual post pages. I know that can be toggled under Site Elements in the Customizer, but when it’s turned on the result, frankly, looks awful, so I have that turned off for now. Thanks again…there’s so much to love about this theme!

In reply to: [Bento] Hiding Navigation on an Individual PageNever mind! I realized I could just drop it into the “Additional CSS” section under “Customize” and it worked perfectly.
QUESTION: Will this Additional CSS section be maintained during theme upgrades, or should I be copy/pasting it off to a text file as a back to save changes?

In reply to: [Bento] Hiding Navigation on an Individual PageThanks for the info. I’ve got the page ID. Is there a specific place within the style.css file that I should drop this code?
Also does it make a difference if this page is currently set to be the home page of the site?
Basically, I want to put up a simple “Hi, there. Coming soon” page which does not reveal other site content, while building the real structure and content in the background. It’s only on this temporary home page that I don’t want the menu showing as I build it out. I hope that makes sense.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] List view for 2017 displayed out of orderI managed to solve my issue by doing two things: (1) updated The Events Calendar plugin, and (2) disabling a conflicting plugin. I’m pretty sure #2 was the real culprit, but I only figured it out by disabling all my plugs, then reenabling The Events Calendar, and THEN enabling likely suspects one at a time.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] List view for 2017 displayed out of orderYou win. I don’t have that plugin installed, and I’ve deactivated all the likely culprits on the problem site but am still seeing the issue. Next move is to change themes, I suppose.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] List view for 2017 displayed out of orderI’m having a similar issue on one of the sites I help with, but in my case all upcoming events (not just 2017) are displayed out of order. I think (but am not sure) that the events are showing in reverse chrono order by date created (or possibly edited). The next/previous links at the bottom of individual event pages are also messed up.
My sidebar widget is displaying events properly, as is the calendar view.
Interestingly, this is no happening on two other sites where I use the plugin, so I’m wondering if this is an issue with either the active theme or another plugin.
