    Sounds good. Thanks.

Thanks very much. I’m glad to hear the spinning is on your list — it worries me more that the plug-in doesn’t recover from the timeout error than that it has the timeout error. You know? You lose the whole file upload and any successful compressions when there is a timeout error.

I think the timeout is just on localhost for me. So not super important – I’ll increase my max_execution_time. It definitely happens more on the larger image sizes.

Off-topic: You mentioned that you’re all set for WP 4.5. Do developers/users need to worry about the change from 90% to 82% WP image quality when also using your plug-in?

    Thanks again!

    Chrome on Windows?

I deactivated my caching plugin, checked that my wp-content/cache directory was empty, cleared my Chrome history from the beginning of time, force refreshed, and restarted. Same problem.

I must have some obscure setting somewhere. Thanks for looking. Hate to waste your time.

No, not the little edit/delete box, the inline link box:

    WPLinks

My WP version is 4.5-RC1-37166. (I downloaded it a couple days ago, but I just hit “Update Now” and it stayed this same version.)

Hmm…It seems to be particular to Chrome; it looks good for me in a quick test on Firefox and IE. I’m Chrome Version 49.0.2623.112 m, running WP on localhost using xampp on Windows 8.1.
