After a few problems with my server timing out, I now have Duplicator working.

Really like the way everything is there in one package.

Definitely be using it again.

My way is a little long winded and takes a bit of time, if you can automate the process I’m all for it.

Would Duplicator be better than what I usually do?

1. Data – get the plugin “wp db backup” install, then head on over to your tools tab to find it. You can back up immediately and then do a scheduled backup depending on how often you may post/update pages etc. Always a good idea to get the backups sent to an email address specially set for this sole purpose.

2. Themes, Plugins, and Uploaded Files – just copy the “wp-content” folder to a wp-backup-folder.

3. Also backup the “wp-config.php” file to the same file.

4. All Access info.. passwords etc save as text into your wp-backup-folder, thats normal though! ??

Am I missing anything?

Hi nothing to do with the theme or your Special Recent Posts widget, it had something to do with the Intuitive Custom Post Order widget which I had turned on for posts, something changed after the WP3.8 update or the Customizr 3.1.6 update.
All good now, thanks.

I wasn’t sure because I updated both.
It must be something to do with the theme then, which doesn’t have an option for the order of posts as far as I can see.
All was fine before, I’ll check if someone may know why at their end.

Just found this:

We’re also working on improving the Jetpack Subscription module, and we’ll consider sending new confirmation emails when your reader enters their email address into the subscription form more than once.

Has there been any change on this or is there another way of sending out a secondary Confirm Follow email for subscriptions?
