I’m piggy backing on the conversation here, I have included the CSS described above and the link structure that I found at coldforged using:

<div id=”navigationbar”> and the content.

I was wondering if someone could have a look at the problem I have at https://www.rustyhinges.com and offer a solution. It appears that the navigation isn’t calling the CSS for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

This has been one of the amazing benefits of the support forum and people like Michael Heilemann, the creator of the Kubrick theme. It makes novices like me look a little better.

Love what you’ve done there. Sometimes a dark theme blog doesn’t come across right, but I think you’ve struck a great balance. The design is appealing and its very readable. Good job.

I’ve changed the header to fit a bit better.

Beautiful design… love the header and the posts have a nicely designed and organized feel.

I remember how satisfying it was as a total amatuer (still am) to accomplish installing WordPress. Good job.

Yeah, its Kubrick, but it looks great. You have captured simple. It’s just enough not Kubrick to be unique and have a character all its own. Love what you’ve done. It has a dreamy look to it becuase of the colors. Good job.

update: rustyhinges can be found at https://www.rustyhinges.com as is basically kubrick in the raw. might end up skinning it in the future.

Great job. I like how you’re including pictures of some kind in each of your posts. Nice touch. I’d say get rid of the original headspace header that resides behind you’re header and choose only one font type… It would make it more uniform and readable.

The site is very easy on the eyes.

The truth is, only WordPress junkies know anything about Kubrick. Your readers will see a simple, yet attractive design and think “wow, what a nice looking site” and you get the credit.

I find the red on black very hard to read… props for a great design, you’re way ahead of me there.

Whatever you’ve done to update your site is not rip off. That is very unique. Love what you’ve done there. Simple, but not simplistic. Good job.
