It’s controlled in the CSS
Find the spot in your CSS that deals with ‘ul’ or ‘ul li’

for example mine says
#sidebar ul { list-style-type: none; }

That means in Unordered lists in the #sidebar there will be no bullet.

does that make sense?

Thats a very interesting plugin. I like it a lot.

Though it’s a little different then what I’m looking for. Each of the asides in this plugin must be assigned to a blog entry… I would like the assides or mini-blog entries to be their own entitiy within the database.

Im sure I’m not using the correct terminology, but does that make sense?

I’m using 1.5 … and I think it’s for 1.2

I’m not sure they should be in the source… but it would be great as a plugin.

I know next to nothing about how plugins work, so I don’t even know if it’s possible. But it would be cool.

What I would really like (that is kind of the same idea) is a mini-blog or link-blog that I could use in my sidebar. Even if it was just a specific category that showed up in that separate area.

I likes it. none of the design elements get in the way of reading or getting around. like orangeguru said… it all seems to be in the right place.

I also agree that thigs look just a tiny bit squeezed. It took a moment for my brain to wrap around what separated each entry. I think just a bit more white space between entries would do the trick.

I’m not a real PHP guy so somebody please correct me if I’m wrong…

but I would think you could just do something like:

<?php the_content(__(‘read more of’)); ?> <?php the_title(); ?>

Has anyone used this with 1.5 beta 1?

This is exatly what I want… but I’m not good enough with PHP to troubleshoot if it doesn’t work out of the box.

If not… does anyone else know a good plugin for a linkblog or miniblog?

I’m 600 miles away from my family… and blogging is much easier then 10 phone calls on the same subject.

you know… it’s helped me a ton. I’m not using it straight… but it pointed me in the exact direction I needed!
