OK so I was deferring jQuery for performance reasons (at some point). I have now removed the ‘defer’, console isn’t showing any errors but I’m still not getting the map display on mobile?

OK will I need to reinstall 3.1.5 on staging to recreate issue?

OK so rolling back to 3.1.3 has corrected the issue. I can now search again without problem. Surely this means that it was PublishPress that was causing the issue?

I can confirm that no variables are removed by default including the PHP $_GET variable.
