Could not connect through FTP Server through my host or with FileZilla (it states Windows Only? I’m on Mac OSX), but did stumble upon the File Manager provided in my Godaddy account. I located the problem folder, deleted it. Problem solved.
For others who might run into this problem, here is the path I took in my Godaddy account. –
Domain Name > Advanced Details > Manage Hosting Account > Hosting Control Center > Content > File Manager
I found the google-news-widget folder and deleted it. Problem solved.
Bottom line – I’m sure this is a “same as” solution that esmi suggested, but FTP client and FileZilla wasn’t working for me. But your suggestion, esmi, got me on the right track. Thanks.
