Hi, but I have seen your index page. It seems to be broken. If you’re currently using self-hosted sever, you might want to delete the wordpress file and re-install it. The data will however be gone. But if have a back up file, you can restore back your wordpress.

Firstly the wordpress system have not change recently.

May I ask which version of wordpress is your website currently running? If you don’t know, you can check it by going to your wp-admin and ince you login into the dashboard, you’ll be able to see it.

Thank you for your response.

I do understand the fact that I can put a blank index file on every folder but this will be very tedious because if I had to create new folder each time I couldn’t keep up with creating the index file.

I will go with the second way. Thanks anyway, it work well.

Hi I updated my robots.txt file already.

Despite changing the robots file, it does not block off visitor from viewing the root directory.

What i want to achieve is that the people are not able to fee my files on the root directory itself.

eg.
they cannot view (https://runinasia.com/wp-content/uploads/)

A few questions I would like to enquire.

Firstly, is your website a self-hosted website or a website hosted on WordPress database?

Secondly, are you the administrator of the website? If yes, do you have other members you promoted them to a administrator rank?

These two question will be essential for me to determine the system fault.
