Hello VikW Team – thank you for the thorough explanation.

Im sorry but it has got me way more confused now. The Divi theme im using doesnt have widgets expect for the default – sidebar and footer places.

I can add a code section but then will only be able to add the shortcode but not able to add a widget. So this is where im getting stuck!

Thank you for the quick response.

I just checked and have seen that the shortcode tool is activated ON by default. I tried to deactivating and saving and re activating but still not showing.

So maybe cant be used with DIVI.

To add the 3 pictures in the slider.
Add a featured image to 3 pages (title them accordingly)

Then head to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize section > Home Section > Home Slider

Then select the 3 pages you assigned the featured images to each slider

If you need further help i can assist with screenshots.
