In reply to: [BP Profile Shortcodes Extra] Calling shortcodes using PHPHello,
Would you happen to know if you can call this shortcode through HTML? I am trying to use a plugin called PublishPress: Multiple Authors that allows you to have an author bio and click on the associated links below it. I figured I’d ask you since the plugin author for this hasn’t been active on the forum for months. Here’s the code I tried:
<a class="message" href="{{ do_shortcode('[bpps_profile_private_message_link]')|raw }}"> <i href="{{ do_shortcode('[bpps_profile_private_message_link]')|raw }}" target="_blank" class="message-author" /><i class="ua-icon ua-icon-chat"> </i></a>
Thank you!
Mark
On the backend when I edit the post itself, if just the “Comments” box is checked on at the very top when clicking screen options, then the comments on the front end will still not display. Only once I scroll down on the backend and check the box that says Discussion – and check on for “Allow Comments”, in addition to the comments at the top of the backend then the front end will in fact display the comments.
Thanks!
Michael,
I don’t have any other plugins or moderation tools setup for comments, that’s why I wasn’t quite sure what else could be causing it. If all of my CPT UI settings are allowing it, would you know where else I should ask this question?
Thanks,
Mark
The three options are “checked” which are:
1. Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article
2. Allow link notifications from other blogs (ping backs and trackbacks) on new articles
3. Allow people to post comments on new articlesIt then says (These settings may be overridden for individual articles)
Joppuyo, that’s exactly what I needed! I purchased the Toolbox plugin and it seamlessly integrated your plugin within minutes. I now am using the aspect ratio throughout the website and cannot thank you enough for making a plugin like this! The author for Toolbox, Didou, has been extremely helpful with any questions linking your plugin with others. I really appreciate that you made this!

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Removing taxonomy metaboxI realized I wrote “False”, which resulted in a partial removal. I changed it to “false” and it worked! Thank you so much for your help, you rock!

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Removing taxonomy metaboxHey Michael,
False changed how it displays, but it’s still essentially there (see difference between Sizess and Statess, ignore the typo because these are duplicate taxonomies). Statess has “False” on that meta field, whereas Sizess is blank. Would you have an idea when you plan to do the next update?
Thank you,
Mark Lisek

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Removing taxonomy metaboxThere is an option called “Metabox callback”, however it is a text field to title the function name. I cannot find an option to make this “False”
Thanks!
