In reply to: Image swap plugin

I don’t have a reply for you, but did you ever get an answer to your question? I, too, want an image swap gallery plug-in, similar to: https://www.williamvazquez.com/portraits/#num=content-39&id=album-7

Did you ever get any help or guidance?

Nice that you guys are such advanced users. But your review is unfair. This plug-in is simple to use. Install it and you’re ready to go. The amount of code it uses is a different issue. You’re carping about the title of the plug-in being misleading, but so is your review. And you’re upset about wasting 20 minutes? I wasted 4+ hours trying out different Lightbox plug-ins that didn’t even work. This one works.

I installed another plug-in that automatically updates to the latest version of jQuery and Lightbox Plus still isn’t working. Time to move on and try something else, I guess. (I’m pessimistic that I won’t have the same problems with any one that I try.) Oh, I’m using Headway Themes – build your own WordPress theme, if that makes any difference.

I, too, installed this plug-in with great hopes that it would work. I watched the excellent videos by Phillip Gledhill, read all the developer’s support, and still it’s not working correctly. I disagree with you, Eric, about the support – it’s good. The developer in the past has even written posts on this forum, which I’m told doesn’t often happen. The plug-in, however, still doesn’t want to work for me. I entered the recommended code into the posting with the gallery (yes, I set Lightbox Plus to work with WP galleries) and still it only takes me to a browser window with the image and no interactivity. I inactivated my other plug-ins. Nothing. The only thing I haven’t checked is whether my jQuery is up to date. Where do I do that?
