The bot will always show offline. But it does seem like you have a bug.

WP Discord uses wordpress built in function the_excerpt. So for some reason that’s what is coming through the excerpt.

I don’t currently have a copy visual composer to test against.

Looks like your other posts are coming through clean. Is it just that one?

The description used provided by wordpress the_excerpt functionality. Beyond that I believe discord’s embed trims it off.

Part of that feature includes using your bot avatar. Which you set when you create your bot in discord.

WP Discord does not have control over those popups. Those are generated by Discord client itself.

“Gyazo image is not found”

Thank you for using the plugin.

1. In version 0.4.0 the plugin will use the name you’ve chosen when creating your bot. Version 0.4.0 has not been released.
2. The plugin already supports registered custom post types.
3. I will consider enhancing the widget in the future.

This issue was resolved by fixing permissions in discord. I’m going to work on improving error reporting and handling for version 0.4.
