This option does not currently exist. I have logged your issue in github. Not sure when I will be able to get to it since I’m not actively developing this plugin. But I do think it’s a good feature to have.

Was this issue ever resolved? I’m still seeing the filter in inc/extras.php on line 877 of inc/extras.php and apache is logging the error.

Sorry for the late reply. Glad you figured it out. I pushed our version 0.4.1 this morning which should now check your configuration and show a message if the plugin doesn’t get any channels back.

This might not directly handle your issue with permissions but it should apply to those who may have not setup their plugin or have incorrect credentials.

The setting is on your discord server. Not the widget in wordpress.

A “Join” button should show up if you select an instant invite channel under “widget” in your discord server.

If you want to send me an invite and make me an admin you can. Although I’m not sure it is going to help.

I am working on developing a feature that will wordpress admin to see any errors that come through from discord.

On your settings page. IDs are required to be integers as generated by discord.

In version 0.3.7 the plugin will now validate the id and block saving if the id is not valid.

This bug should only occur if you put in an invalid id. I have not rolled out a fix for it yet. But uninstalling and reinstalling will clear your settings.

I have not. Did my test message come through? I did not get an error response from discord.

No hidden options. If you followed the steps and settings it should work. Looks like everything is setup correctly.

I was just pointing out that the plugin really doesn’t have control over the description currently. It comes directly from wordpress.

I will be adding the ability to customize description in version 0.4.0.
