How do I check my error logs? When I FTPed in just now, there was a folder named “logs” but the folders within it were labelled starting with “access”, “ftp”, “traffic”, and “info”. Should there be one for errors? Or should I be looking elsewhere for the error log? Thank you for the feedback.

After it came up blank, I’d just delete the “-old”…I’ll do it again but this time keep the “-old”. If you go to it now, it’s blank…

I just did that – I uploaded a fresh copy of Twenty Eleven and then added “-old” to the soulvision folder name – but the result was the same with the website (actfromlove.com) coming up blank. Thanks for the feedback…do you think it’d be worth me trying to reupload the soulvision theme?

Hi Esmi, I tried doing that before, and just tried it again, but it causes the website itself (www.actfromlove.com) to come up blank. When I FTP in using Filezilla, there are question marks next to the names of the other WP themes. Do you think that has anything to do with it? Thanks again for the help.

Yanqele, I’m not sure how to access the server error log. If I host through 1and1, should I ask them about that? I’m not a coder, so I doubt that I’d be able to fix the code, unless it’s very easy to do. Thanks…

I should have also said that I was able to log into the wp-admin page about 3-4 months ago when I set up and last updated the blog. It’s just when I tried to log in yesterday and today that the wp-admin page was blank. Again, many thanks for any help.

Thank you for the feedback. When I tried adding “-old” to the folder name via FTP, then nothing came up when I went to https://www.actfromlove.com and the same happened when I logged into wp-admin through the old theme and then changed the folder name after that. Any other ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Never mind, I figured it out…I had to get rid of the “www” when I put in the URL…thanks!

I had this same problem. I went through the steps in question E03 but I still got the same message: “Invalid redirect_uri: Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.”

Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes! Someone got in touch with me and told me that I needed to delete the “index.html” file that 1and1 automatically uploads to one’s site. After I deleted that file, it worked perfectly. Thanks for being willing to help out though!

Hi there, thanks for your reply! I tried switching to the twentyeleven theme that comes as a preloaded option, but I got the same 1and1 page. I purchased the domain 2 days ago. Does it usually take a few days for the DNS to propagate? If so, I’ll just sit tight and wait. Thanks again for your reply.

I should have said – even when I preview the website with other themes (with twentyeleven and twentyten), the same thing displays, so I don’t think it’s the theme so much as something else. Thanks.
