“This is to inform you that if you are using the latest version of the BuddyBoss Platform you will not need the BP Profile Search plugin separately. BuddyBoss Platform has the built-in BP Profile Search plugin. That’s why, you are having the issue. Please consider disabling the BP Profile Search plugin check the whole scenario again and let me know how it goes.”

I’ve been in touch with Eyal from GeomyWP and BuddyBoss as well. Hopefully BuddyBoss is willing/able to resolve this issue.

Thank you so much for your continued support. I had renamed the profile to access the wp-admin page. I since reinstalled your profile (with correct plugin folder name), then tried to reactivate Geomywp, but got the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bps_get_request() (previously declared in /home/torahg6/torahbride.com/wp-content/plugins/bp-profile-search/bps-search.php:3) in /home/torahg6/torahbride.com/wp-content/plugins/buddyboss-platform/bp-search/bp-search-functions.php on line 602

Thanks for that @ironlion37, I’ve submitted that suggestion on the roadmap as well.

I see the BP registration option plugin has been updated, but I don’t see anything on the update notes addressing critical errors with BuddyBoss.

I’m guessing the plugin author isn’t focused on BuddyBoss support..

Great you are looking into how to get this resolved. I agree that BuddyBoss should remove the plugin from the “integrations” list if it’s causing fatal errors.

That’s great you’re even willing to pay to get this issue resolved- I haven’t had any correspondence with the plugin author and I’m hoping the author hasn’t dropped the project altogether..

I’m also hoping BuddyBoss would incorporate this feature into their own platform. I’ll let you know if I hear anything and I’d appreciate it if you could do the same. Thanks so much!

Yes, I think you’re right- seems like a related issue with BuddyBoss..

Frustrating you would think BuddyBoss would include a way to moderate new members out of the box..

I’m also having a lot of issues with the conditional logic fields… nothing seems to work for me. Did changing all the fields to text boxes do the trick for you? Seems like a strange work around. Surprised that this hasn’t been addressed with an update to the plugin, or maybe I’m missing something…

I’m having the same kind of issues- can’t seem to get any assistance anywhere and solutions other people have suggested don’t make sense… have you made any progress?
