I’ve determined that the plugin WP Front Page Burner is the source of the rouge code popping up in the title area. The plugin had been working properly until now. But after some testing, it appears to no longer work. Thank you for checking.

Since installing the latest version 0.3.2, I am seeing stray characters in my title (home page only). https://rsanwes.com

I can’t find where my theme the characters are coming from.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled but have seen no change.

Found the offending plugin. It had worked correctly prior to the upgrade to 3.1.2. Will contact the plugin author.

No replies? I realize this is probably a core function… perhaps it’s a feature request for future 3.* updates.

I’ve moved the plugin to a location where the CSS limits the width, so it looks centered. Thanks for the clarification.

That makes sense. In this case, I was using it with the shortcode, so I’ll just leave it as-is. My site is not too image-intensive, so lazyload is not a critical feature and I can live without it. Thank you for checking it out.

I don’t mind having lazyload work in the footer and sidebar but if you’re experimenting with solutions to isolate it, I’d appreciate hearing what you come up with. Many thanks.

Syntax is not quite right. That line does kill lazyload, but for the entire site. Suggestions on how to tweak the line?
