This happened after i upgraded to the latest version

I experienced the same problem. I had to deactivate the download monitor plugin to get back the Featured image option in the side bar. I am using Simple grid theme premium at https://motcap.com

Atlast i found the solution myself. I managed to solve this way…

First my theme didnt contain a tag.php file. So the homepage was rendered when a tag page was called.

So i created an empty tag.php file and copied all the codes from the category.php and pasted it in tag.php. I uploaded the tag.php to the main theme folder.

Voila, now the tag page renders the associated posts…

Thanks to janet4now who cared to find a solution.

They are not linking to the post. Instead they displays contents from my homepage with the tag URL.For example, the tag “Skating jump mocap” contains only one post linked to the tag. But when you click the link, it shows the posts from homepage.
