In reply to: Cannot log into WordPress Admin Dashboard, getting fatal errorThanks for you help Tara. I finally got my wordpress running. I contacted my web host and they found it was set to multisite. I checked my WP memory limit everywhere it could be set and finally got it set to 256M.
Thanks.

In reply to: Cannot log into WordPress Admin Dashboard, getting fatal errorLooks like I have fixed the memory limit problem, but now when I type in my WP admin web address, it just goes to my website homepage?
Any ideas why this would happen?
Thanks,

In reply to: Cannot log into WordPress Admin Dashboard, getting fatal errorHello Tara and JunaidRaza,
Thanks for your input. I have tried increasing the WP memory limit because when I search for a solution that is what comes up. I have changed the WP memory limit in the WP config file to 256M and now up to 512M and still the same message. Is there somewhere else to change the limit? For my other website my hosting company increased the WP memory limit to 256M, so I know they don’t limit it to 8MB.
Maybe I am not doing it correctly, but I think I did it right. Seems like there is another issue causing the fatal error, but I don’t know.
Thanks, Bob

In reply to: Lost my CSS formatting to my HTML WebsiteHello Christi,
Thanks for the help. I am able to get the CSS formatting back to my site by adding this line to the .htaccess file: AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .html .htm.
That works but I have a new problem that I will add as a new post. I cannot log into my wordpress admin dashboard. I get this error
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 262144 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49152 bytes) in /home/freedi5/public_html/wp-login.php on line 194
This is driving me crazy, I have reinstalled a new copy of wordpress on the root, but nothing seems to work. I will post this in the forum and hopefully someone can help.
Thanks for your help,

In reply to: Error 500 – Internal Server ErrorHello Tara, thanks for your help. I figured out the problem with the help of my hosting company support center. I searched for Error 500 and the first thing that came up was that my PHP version might not be correct. The first line said, “The latest version of WordPress requires that the PHP version be set to version 5.4 or higher.” I checked my version and I think it was set to 5.2, so I updated it to the latest 5.6 and all my problems went away, what a relief.
Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it.
Kind regards,
Robert Peterson
