In reply to: [Sign-up Sheets] Auto-hiding of dates in Pro per sheetGreat, thank you for the information! This is very helpful.
I’ll let you know if I have any other questions, but that should cover it for now.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Sign-up Sheets] Auto-hiding of dates in Pro per sheetThanks so much for the prompt reply! Do you think that feature might be in the development pipeline, by chance? At least being able to restrict people from signing up for expired tasks is helpful, though.
Also, do you have a best practice for linking to individual sign-up sheets? Right now, I’m using a method where I put the [sign-up sheet] shortcode on a page, and then use the “?sheet_id=#” addition to the URL leading to that page to create an inline link wherever I might need it. Is there possibly a more elegant way of linking to a sign-up sheet? We’re trying to build an experience that doesn’t solely rely on the built-in navigation of the shortcode widget itself.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Emails to Yahoo addresses failingAhh, I understand. I realized, upon deeper investigation, that this problem is likely to be with my webhost. I’ll follow up with them and post the results here, especially if we manage to successfully troubleshoot the issue.

Hey there!
Thanks for the information! Glad to hear you’re all on top of the documentation. And thanks again for the solid plugin.
Do you have any recommendations for articles I could read to learn more about designing an email that’s less of a “spam trap?” You all mentioned putting our address in the footer as a strategy to avoid spam filters (apparently it lends legitimacy?), but I imagine there are several other best practices.
That makes sense about the analytics. No worries; I figured it was worth asking. ??

I’d like to add my support for a dark-theme-compatible version of this plugin. It seems to be quite slick (I’ll submit a rating once I’ve had more time with it; just enabled it like 30 minutes ago). I’m having trouble finding the CSS to make all of the tweaks I’d need to make it look natural.
Would it be possible to add in options (within the “Background and Colors” space in the Settings tab) to modify the “Notify of” drop-down menu, and any other text that isn’t currently controllable? This would also, I believe, include the names of commentaries, timestamp, “Hide replies” text, “Please insert the code above to comment,” “Notify of new replies to this comment,” and possibly others. If not, could you perhaps give instructions for how to make these tweaks in a lasting way (rather than modifying core WP CSS files, which would be overwritten upon WP updates) in your documentation?
Thanks so much for considering this!

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] BUWP no longer backing up my siteYou’re both very welcome! I haven’t had to use it very often, but, when I do, it’s truly a lifesaver. Praise the foresight of the WP community! ??

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] BUWP no longer backing up my siteHere ya go (this is where I found it, so I know the package works):

Just click on the 3.2.7 option a little ways down the page. I love this feature of wordpress’s plugin manager. ??

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] BUWP no longer backing up my siteI noted the same problem, but apparently my full-site backups stopped in March (heh, I’ve obviously been out of the admin loop) and the daily database ones ceased on Oct 26th. I had been keeping up with the plugin updates, and didn’t realize an apparently critical component had been dropped a few versions ago.
I also switched back to 3.2.7, and my backups started functioning properly again.
What is PclZip? What replaced it, I wonder? Seems kinda important, given that several people had their backups simply stop working…

Sweet, thanks so much for your help! If it crosses your mind to do so once it’s ready, I’d appreciate a note here so that I can look into implementing it on my site.
Thanks again for your hard work on this!
