In reply to: XML Sitemap & Submitting to Yahoomiavitadolce,
You have to request an App ID from Yahoo. All you have to do is click on the link beside the Yahoo box that says “Request One Here”.
On the application form, use these options:
Authenication Method: Generic
Developer/Company Name: Your Name or Your Company Name
Product Name: I just used the title of my site
Web Application URL: The address of your website (ex. https://ourplasticlife.com)
Contact Email: Your email address
Description of application: A description of your site.Once all of that is filled out, you should get your App ID instantly. Just copy/paste that code in the box on your site. Check the Yahoo box, and you are done. It will then start notifying Yahoo.
Hope this helped.

In reply to: Feedback Please!I checked in IE8, FF, and Chrome. The site looks fine in all of the browsers. However, as ferriwinkle said, it did take some time to load. IE8 took about 10-15 seconds for me, and FF/Chrome both took about 8 seconds. Hope this helps.

In reply to: Check Out My Site…Total Newbie & would like feeback!I like it. The colors go well together, and I like the fonts used. Good Job!
The one thing that I would suggest is changing out the social media plugin that you are using on your posts (the “share and enjoy” thing). I would replace it with SexyBookmarks. Other than that, Great Job!!

In reply to: Can't find part of a page to edit itAre you talking about the area in the sidebar that says “Get in Touch”? If so, is that a widget? Check the widgets area of your admin panel.

In reply to: Alternative to IframeThat’s what I was afraid of. What are the advatages of using redirection plugin that you mentioned, instead of just creating a menu item that links to the external site?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Alternative to IframeYeah, but my intention is to keep the navigation of the WordPress site. Will this do that? Or, will it just redirect to the new site. If that is the case, I can just make a menu item that goes to the external site.

In reply to: Creating Pages Not Shown In NavBarI don’t know if you still need this, but here is what I used to do this:

Of course, if your theme is compatable with the new menu system in WP 3.0, it is even easier.

In reply to: [Plugin: WPtouch 1.9.16] Menus Not WorkingUpdate:
I have upgraded to WordPress 3.0, and still have the same issue. When I reinstalled the plugin, the settings are still there. Does anyone know what I need to manually delete to make sure I get a “clean” install?
