Is it posible to remove the sub categories from the URL too?

I have got the some problem. I am using wordpress 2.2 but some of my plugings doesn’t work when I change ‘function __destruct()’
Is there anyway to close all the connections at the end of the page?

Thanks moshu, I was looking to the Category_Templates but I didn’t understand where should I edit the file category.php

I installed it but when I get in a post I get this error “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria”, does anybody know how to fix it?

Thanks for your answer, I just found my error, I was makeing an include with a variable called $id
