we are still waiting for an answer.

The error does not seem to be due to the PHP version, but to the fact that “Download Monitor ” requires write permission for the “wp-content” folder, which is not advisable for security reasons.

Why does the plugin require write permission for this folder even though “wp-content/uploads/download” is entered as the download path?

I submitted an enquiry to Sales Support on 21/12/2013 but have not received a reply to date. Are these processing times normal or do I have to submit the enquiry again?

I have never had a situation where post images were displayed twice. I have now solved the problem as described by Divi by deactivating the thumbnails. Thanks for the support.

The problem also exists when using “Twenty Twenty-Four” and can therefore not be changed by a setting in Divi.

I can release write permission for defined directories, but not for the “wp-content” folder, as this is too dangerous.
The two files “object-cache.php” and “.redis-write-test.tmp” are generated by your plugin and for this you need write permission for the folder “wp-content”, which is not good.

Please save the two files in a separate directory or under “/wp-content/cache/”.

This is not correct. The file “/wp-content/object-cache.php” does not come from WordPress but from your plugin:

This means you need write permissions for the folder “wp-content” – that’s bad! In secure installations, this folder is write-protected. The files must therefore be in a subdirectory for which you can safely set up write permission, for example “/wp-content/cache/”.

Can the path be configured or do I need another plug-in?

I have registered here because I do not have the possibility to enter a message on the portal. It is not even possible to edit the account settings there. I manage a lot of customer sites, including some with WooCommerce. Therefore, I need a way to report errors.

Please forward the detected error internally to the developers. My message should help to correct errors.
