In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Error opening .pdf files from siteThanks for getting back to me on this.
I made the changes to both my development and production environments, and it works! I’ve tested against IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, and no problems with opening .pdf files in the native applications.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Error opening .pdf files from siteHere’s my final update until I hear back from you. I do get a javascript error, as follows:
Uncaught Error: Bootstrap’s JavaScript requires jQuery

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Error opening .pdf files from siteI wanted to add in some additional information. If I’m logged into the site, and I refresh the permalinks settings, I can access downloads normally (no “string(5) test2” showing), and downloads work as expected. When I log out of the site, the error message returns and downloads are again unsuccessful.
Permissions and access to the mdocs documents folder are set appropriately.
I have a development environment that duplicates our production environment (and where the same behavior appears). I’ve deactivated every other plugin and tested again. If I’m logged into the site, the download behavior works as it should. If I log out of the site, the same error message/results occur.

In reply to: [Arconix FAQ] Broken Style and shortcode optionBhavik,
The new update looks to have solved the problem with the accordion style. Thanks for the quick turn around!

In reply to: [Arconix FAQ] Broken Style and shortcode optionThanks for the information. Fortunately, I only installed it on our development server, so I’m not as concerned. I’m holding off on the production server until you get the issue fixed.
Thanks again for your response!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Roles and capabilities not workingThe update solved our issues as well. Thank you!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Roles and capabilities not workingI’m sorry. I also wanted to add that I had a user with the “Author” role assigned who had done a document update last week with no issues at all. Now, after the update to v3.8.5.1, he also is not able to see the menu link for “Memphis Docs”.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Roles and capabilities not workingI wanted to add that I am also having a problem with the roles and capabilities not applying correctly for users. I have given rights to Editors and Authors to manage document, but neither role is able to see the link to “Memphis Docs” in the left-side menu. Also, it looks like the display area under “Roles and Capabilities” has the checkboxes to mark off which roles have rights, but there is no explanation of what rights are being assigned (it looks like the text for the roles just isn’t displaying).
Let me know if you have any questions or if you need more information. Thanks!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] ADA / Section 508 ScanSounds good. I’ll wait for the changes.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] ADA / Section 508 ScanI’ve loaded the latest update and rerun a scan (the report has been updated on the site). It appears that there were more issues introduced in the latest scan report.
If I put in the code changes you provided previously for mdocs-modals.php, the report comes out a little better, but the upload and manage file links in the admin area break.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Links in Admin MenuI have the update installed. I believe I found what the problem was. We’re working on the ADA compliance and had posted the modified mdocs-modals.php file you sent me. That apparently was the culprit. I’d moved it back into use after applying the update, and the “Upload” and “Manage File” links were both broken. I’ve put the original mdocs-modals.php file back in place and everything is working again.
Thank you for the assistance. This can be closed.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] ADA / Section 508 ScanI’ve posted the modified file and re-scanned the site. I’ve got the new report posted for you at the same link. (Just BTW, your plugin makes this *SO* much easier!)

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] ADA / Section 508 ScanRight now, we’re just interested in Section 508 compliance. That may change later, of course.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] ADA / Section 508 ScanSorry about that. I was afraid that would be the case. I’ve changed the settings, so you should be able to get it now.
Thank you!
