I have tried the above, but it is still not retrieving the youtube thumbnails??

Neither of those or a combination of the two seemed to work for me :/

Just wondering if anyone found a fix for this problem yet by any chance? :/

This plugin is not working with Youtube videos for me since updating WordPress. Everything else works eg Vimeo and Soundcloud, just not Youtube. I click auto set in the featured image box and nothing happens apart freom the youtube video reloading in the FVP url box??

I don’t know if its the wordpress update, or if Youtube have changed something on their end. But I have deactivated all my plugins, and recativated this one and it is still doing the same problem with youtube videos?!!

this is using the above updated plugin file, and has tiled galleries enabled in Jetpack.

No change, when tiled galleries is enabled, it still overrides wp-gallery-custom-links.

Does anybody have an answer for this, as I have been searching this forum and Google for one to no avail??! ??

I have tried this on each of my 3 blogs (which all have different plugins and settings enabled) with their own respective FB page id’s, and the same thing happens. Basically the lightbox hover appears but in stead of the FB page like box, its an iframe which has loaded a copy of the original webpage the lightbox was loading on (if you can understand that).

This happens regardless of which fb page id is specified??!

Thanks for the reply wprock – Id checked out the gallery shortcode but it doesn’t suit what I want to do. I basically wanted a couple of rows of thumbnails from my most popular posts (in order or popularity, with links to the posts – both which the shortcode doesn’t allow as far as I know).

Isn’t there an easier way or formatting trick to get inserted thumbs from the media library in WP to stay horizontally in a row, instead of a list? Im trying to avoid using tables for formatting if possible!?

Nevermind, I deactivated all the plugins and worked my way through the list till I found one that was causing the issue and deleted it. Problem solved.
