    thanks for the help and sorry for the delay in responding Teeru – I’ve had a hard time getting back to work on this. Put your CSS in and that seemed to work on the single post, the category tag remained on the multiple post page. I had already tried the following which didn’t work for me.

    footer.single-entry-footer {
    display: none;
    }

    Also, I just found this plug-in: WP Author, Date and Meta Remover. This seemed to remove everything including the category on the multiple post page. However, it has not been tested with newer wp versions so I am a bit hesitant to rely on it.

    I was looking for a function that gave me a ‘containerized’ approach to displaying products and related info. I have been looking at lots of different types of wordpress functionality to give me the same type of control. If you don’t believe that your widget plugin is the right way to go, I have no argument. I haven’t found another method yet but assume I will stumble across a more appropriate approach.

    I appreciate your time and feedback

    I was playing around with the Black Studio TinyMCE but not tied to it.

    We are moving from a drupal-based website and don’t have much experience with wordpress. We’re finding that some of the things we take for granted we probably shouldn’t.

    Not using any tools to manage the products. We’re not selling online and don’t really require much in the way of functionality. Our website is simply informational and we’re trying to give users a way to visualize our products without going throughout a typical menu structure.

    I looked at some of the product cataloguing tools thinking I could use them for our objective but they all seemed a bit ‘ebayish’ if that makes sense.

    thanks for the response. I can do without number 1 (assuming I can put graphics in the text box) but #2 is a bit of a non-starter. I’ve tried a lot of other widgets without any luck so far so I’m a bit stuck.

    I’m not a CSS guy but can probably figure it out if you give me some help. I don’t have any example available but my design strategy was to put widgets showing different products (picture + small amount of text) on a page and then have the user click a widget to get more detailed info about a specific product. Each page would have a different number of these widgets (somewhere between 4 and 15) depending on the product category. As you can imagine, vertical alignment would not work very well.

    sorry, I meant the only alignment seems to be VERTICAL
