I got the infinite login loop for all 3 of my websites when I upgraded to 2.5, and then again with 2.7. I ended up rehauling my plugins by deleting them and reinstalling them all, via FTP. It seemed to do the trick for both situations, for all of my websites.

I have absolutely no idea if this will be of any help to anyone (or if it relates to what is happening with others), but this happened to me today after I uploaded the cforms II plugin. I couldn’t understand why all of a sudden the visual editor disappeared. The visual tab was highlighted, but only html was displayed, and when I clicked on the html tab, the entire post field disappeared. So then I not only deactivated the plugin, but totally deleted it (which was huge btw), and as a result, everything went back to normal again. Which kind of makes me sad because I really liked that plugin, but that’s another story. =/

according to the validator page, your code is fixed, but you are still getting the error, as is the rest of us.

i’m thinking it’s wp related, although i didn’t do anything differently, so i’m not quite sure what it is. and not all of my wp blogs are having this problem either, which is strange. (both sites having problems – using wp 2.1 for one, the other is on 2.3)

friends are telling me they can’t see the sites on avant either.

a couple of my friends have the same problem on their wp sites too.

Having the exact same problem with my wp blogs (just some of them, not all, oddly enough). Didn’t do a thing before the error message started coming up. Also not working with avant either.
