In reply to: Unsubscribe from plugin forumOK I’ve done some more looking around and it looks like what is happening is that I am getting emails from a local install of WP. Is there a way to find or view error logs. Because I think something must be amiss with my WP install.

In reply to: Convert html page to a WordPress pageWell, I think the customer is trying to do this on the cheap.
Honestly I would never have thought to try and migrate an html site to WP.
I’m thinking he would be better off just recreating the site from scratch.
But I’m going to try my best to accommodate him.
Thank you all the same.
I really want to use a slider in the header.
Using the free version

In reply to: Where does WP keep uploaded imagesInteresting… I had uploaded a file just so I would know I had found the right folder. And it showed up in the folder you suggested. So I’m thinking cool we’re good to go and I ftp the rest of the images to that folder but when I go to Media library there is only the image that I uploaded with the uploader.
Am I going to have to add each and every one of these images 1 by 1 using the uploader?

In reply to: I messed up my database.Thank you. That was just what I needed tosolve that problem.
All that’s left is to sort out the database admin name and password
One articial I was reading said I could just edit the hash in the users table. Said I could type in the password I wanted and select md5 and it would hash it automatically.
Both of these sites only show one user.So if I can make the changes to the database There should be nothing left but to update edit the wp-config file ???

In reply to: WP doesn’t connect with WordPress serversI’m running a windows 7 machine with Apache 24 and PHP 5.5.36
I’ve run into something like this before and I seem to recall it was due to a missing or inactive module.
I’ll take a look at your plugin and let you know.

In reply to: WordPress has locked me out of my admin accountHmmm…
That raises another question which may be a solution to this problem.Because this is all running on my desktop machine I can install and setup as many websites as I want. As it is I have nmaybe a half dozen Worpress sites installed alreeady fro various reasons, one thing and another.
Is it possable to migrate tables from one DB to another DB. In other words can I transfer the work I’ve done in the one site to another Install i.e. database the things like pages, menus, categories etc…
