It’s a woocommerce site with almost 6k products, maybe another 1k or so tag pages. By all means not a huge site. And not big traffic either.

Since I started this post I deleted almost another 10 gig cache. That’s way too much ??

I get it’s a free plugin, not expecting the world. But don’t see how the paid will eliminate this issue. Time to go with another solution.

Also seems like it’s caching both https and http. That might be part of the problem. Either way, still to much.

I believe that is already an option. Dashboard -> Woocommerce -> Custom Related Products

There is an option, not to show any related products.

I have not tried it, but looks like it is there ??

Wish I knew as well, among other image problems. This “new” gallery thing is causing me all kinds of fits.

Woocommerce is free, there are not different versions, no “paid” version.

If the money did not go into your pay pal account, the customer did not get charged. Also reason pay pal does not recognize the transaction #. If you had sandbox enabled, of course that is what will be the case. Sandbox is only for testing, not money gets exchanged.

Why refund them if they did not get charged? Unless you like giving money away.

Yes, have the order again.

If the payment did not go through, it won’t.

Best thing to do is deactivate plugins to find the problem.

I had the same issue, for me it was the “Intense” plug-in for shortcodes.

Sad they can’t reply ??

This can be used with myphpAdmin correct?

I tried the select version and it crashed my database. I do have 28k customers, so I know that doesn’t help.

Trying to clean out my DB or customers with no orders but no luck finding a solution. Everything I try either hangs up or crashes the DB.

Any suggestions? I am lost.

Yes I should have deactivated all plugins. Embarrassed. I did deactivate the ones I thought had any chance of causing the problem.

Deactivated all and yes it was fixed. So I activated all and went one by one, deactivating till I found the problem.

Come to find out it was the Intense shortcode plugin. Would have never thought that would be the problem. So odd. Now I need to figure out why.

Thank you for your reply, but as I already said, I’ve done that.

I am no security expert, but I don’t permanently block for too long, like you said the list grows big fast.

Plus the bad guys (their bots) just keep switching IP’s any ways, so in reality I don’t thinking blocking IP’s really helps that much. Sure not long term. I tend to clear them out after a while.

But again, I am no expert.

Okay, I found 1.0 in trac, uploaded it, activated it and everything works fine. Pages work, pagination works perfect.

So it’s something with one of the latest updates .1 – .3 ??

I forgot… I updated and my store pages went blank. Deactivated just this plugin and the site worked again.

So I don’t “think” it’s something else.

I updated and all my pages end up blank. Admin still works, but not the front end.

Now I need to try and dig up an older version.

I decided just to ditched W3. Wasn’t totally impressed with it anyways. There are other plugins that can do the same thing.

This plugin gives me the best search results for Woocommerce out of all the so many others I’ve tried and that is important.

But of course this should be fixed. Sad the author doesn’t contribute and help out here. Though from another recent thread, doesn’t look like they support the paid version any better.

I’ve been working on the same site for a few months now, using and testing many plugin’s and this was the first time I’ve had one slow things down this much and first time I’ve had crashes. So I don’t believe it’s other plugins. Yes, after deactivating it, I do not have the slowness and no crashes.

Like I said, I can’t confirm it’s this plugin, but just using it on the admin side, it is so slow and I can tell it wants to crash.

Plus the P3 profiler plugin confirms it is using a vast majority of resources. I’ve also seen others mention slowness.

And I have a quality VPS with 6 gig ram, so I doubt it’s because of a slow or low performing server.
