My US Wise bank account will be charged based on what country I am receiving the funds from. Basically, I need to know what country WooCommerce payments will be coming from.

What determines what country my WooCommerce payments are coming from? Is it the currency I set for my store? For example, if I set my WooCommerce store to Euro currency, does it mean WooCommerce will do a Euro to US transfer to my Wise account? If I sent my WooCommerce store to UK pounds currency, does it mean WooCommerce will do a UK to US transfer to my Wise account and so on? Or do WooCommerce payments come from only one country, for example, all WooCommerce to Wise payments will be US to US?

The country I am receiving money from on my US Wise account will help me determine what I will be charged by Wise. I really need some help to figure that out.

    Hi @wimartshop,

Think you’re a bit confused of how this plugin works.

This plugin never touches anything regarding your Wise accounts balances. It has no API. It doesn’t connect to Wise nor anything else. It just displays prefilled by you information of how to get paid.

The plugin only displays the Wise accounts relevant to a customer’s billing country, for a given order.

However, it always displays the Wise accounts that are in the same currency as an order, irrespective of customer’s billing country currency.

Wise accounts are shown if their Scope field includes said billing country. If you point at the nearest question-mark tooltip it specifically says:

Comma-separated list of WC 2-letter country or continent codes. Determines when an account becomes visible in the thank-you page and emails. An empty field means always visible, but only when no other more specific accounts (by country, continent, or currency) are already visible.

    HTH.
