I’m not using any shortcodes, just the Widget. The form is called “Subscribe to Updates” and is in the right hand sidebar.

I have already changed the group in the Widget to “Subscribers” but new subscribers are being added to the group “Test”?

I wonder if it would be possible to reduce the size of the Search/Select Category box to allow the logo to expand?

I’ve have tried this but it the width seems to be restricted by the Search/Select Category box?

Thanks – that works after a fashion but it is constrained by the size of either a container, or the Search/Select Category box.

That seems to work, however it displays just a single line before the Continue Reading marker. Also when you click on the Continue Reading marker to view the full details and then click on the All Events link to return to Month view the hover box for each event shows the full text without the Continue Reading marker (hope you can follow this!)

Hi Marcel, Apparently for a feature such as your Guestbook (I really like it by the way) the requirements of GDPR are that:

“it needs to include a checkbox specifically asking the user if they consent to storing their message attached to the e-mail address they’ve used to comment. The checkbox must be unchecked by default. You also need to mention if you will send or share the data with any 3rd-parties and which.”

So maybe a simple checkbox and the facility to add some custom text (as above) would satisfy this?

I have to say that I’m struggling as much as anyone else to ensure that all my sites are GDPR compliant…
