Yes, It works on wordpress version 3.6.

I think there was some problem while updating wordpress from 3.5.2 to 3.6 and caused such unexpected error.

Now, I have again used my backup of version 3.5.2 and again updated to 3.6.

Now everything is working fine.

I think I have selected the right page for events as i can see following message when i open the event page in edit mode :

” This page corresponds to Events Manager events page. Its content will be overriden by Events Manager, although if you include the word CONTENTS (exactly in capitals) and surround it with other text, only CONTENTS will be overwritten. If you want to change the way your events look, go to the settings page.”

Still don’t work. I think this issue I started having after upgrading wordpress version from 3.5.2 to 3.6.

Do you think that would be causing the issue?
If yes, then what to do ?

Yes, Even when I hadn’t changed slug from ‘events’ to ‘events-2’, it wasn’t working, though on live server it is working even with slug ‘events’ as Event’s page’s slug is ‘events-2’.

Yes, I had analysed the difference between the two with my best… but with no success to spot any difference. Also, I didn’t made any changes in the settings of events plugin when took it from live to local.

and the page which I have selected in Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Events is the default page which usually generates in pages section of admin panel automatically when we install the plugin. What I have done is that I just changed its slug from events to events-2.
and made same changes in settings > pages > permalinks, from ‘events’ to ‘events-2’

I am having issue on localhost i.e. my local system. But same site is also running live and it is having all events without any [events_list] tag being used…

Still not able to understand the issue ?

Yes, At Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Events page, I have set ‘Events’ page to be used as page to show events but problem is that at frontend of website, it is still now showing events.

Main Issue is that the page which I have set to show events is not showing that even if I have written ‘CONTENTS’ in the event page within admin panel.

Yes, you are right.
I was having country name listed under country dropdown, but when i was looking into states and town’s dropdown, I wasn’t getting the name of state i had created.

The mistake which I was making is that I didn’t selected the country name I had created from the dropdown and thus the corresponding states and towns were now loading.

Now, Issue has been resolved.

Yes, That’s what I had also thought and thus created a location filling up the name of states, countries etc. but didn’t got the output as expected i.e. didn’t get the state name and country name in the search form’s state and country fields.

Are you very sure that the dropdowns of states, countries and cities populates automatically as we create any location.

Is it mandatory that if we have created a new location, then we need to use that location as well into an event to let it show in the dropdowns of state and country of search form ?

Yes, you are right that we can manage what to show and what to hide in a search bar using the path you gave above.

But my concern is that how can I add states in the dropdown of ‘states’ field of events search form.

Similarly, how can I add coutries in countries field of form.

Please reply accordingly or let me know if you still didn’t get what I tried to explain.

Is it so that if we check the option ‘members only’ for respective events in bookings section, it will disable login / event subscription form on respective event ?
